A little about the charity we support…
Combat Stress has been a lifeline for ‘Stories’ creator Paul following a PTSD diagnosis. Combat Stress provide real support and mental help for veterans throughout the UK with residential and community programmes with an amazing team of volunteers. Their tireless work rely’s on donations from the public which is why we continue to help raise funds for them. Check them out and find out how you can get involved here…
About Penjalau
Penjalau are an acoustic music folk story telling duo, bringing musical stories from everyday life. The name Penjalau is an anagram of the two artists ‘Paul’ and ‘Jane’. Paul is a British Army Veteran of 22 years service. Jane has also served in the Army and is also a talented writer.
Both live in Hartlepool and are heavily involved in the local music scene. Paul is also a guitar magazine editor as well as a novelist, while Jane is the editor of a well established folk magazine.
Their first album, ‘Stories’ is a collection of folk songs written by Paul reflecting the struggles and recovery following his military career. A second album is currently in production with songs written by Jane.
